When ordering repair parts for band saw sharpeners, always identify: |

| Specify part needed by number, if possible. If number is not shown on the drawings, give a description of the part and where it is used or submit a sketch. |
| In some instances, the assemblies shown may differ from those on your machine. These changes represent improvements made for more efficient operation. Not all improvements are interchangeable. If the assembly shown is different from that on your machine, please give description of the parts you are using. |
| Whenever improved parts can be used on your sharpener, these will be furnished to give you the advantage of new developments. |
| TO ORDER ARMSTRONG CAMS: |
| Always order or replace cams as a matched set -- one grinding wheel lift cam and one feed finger advance cam. |
| 1. Specify Armstrong tooth number (e.g., 57-A or 270-Q) - OR - |
| 2. Submit a rubbing of the EXACT tooth shape desired. The
rubbing should show at least 3 consecutive teeth. Also include a rubbing of the
grinding wheel template you use. - OR - |
3. Submit a sketch of an ideal tooth shape and specify the
following:

| CAUTION: Using numbers off worn cams or a rubbing from a saw ground with worn cams is not recommended. Old or modified cams produce a shape that is different from the original tooth design. |
