Armstrong shears cut through a variety of metals including saw steel, iron, sheet steel, brass and copper. The shear’s heavy-duty construction and unique design ensures smooth, accurate cutting through even the heaviest gauge saws, making the shearing operation fast and easy.
ARMSTRONG SHEARS FEATURE:

HYDRAULIC OPTION AVAILABLE

An air-driven hydraulic unit can be installed on either size shear. These units generate 10 tons of pressure to quickly cut through the heaviest band or sash gang saw plates. Shears supplied with this hydraulic option operate on 80 to 100 PSI and can be either hand or foot activated. The smooth cutting, labor saving action of the hydraulic saw shear offers big advantages for busy saw factories, saw shops and sawmills.

SAFETY GUARDS: Armstrong hydraulic shears do not include safety guards. We recommend that safety guards be manufactured to fit each individual shear depending on location and use. Under no circumstances should the hydraulic powered shear be operated without safety guards.
